Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Coordinator/Manager to lead our facilities maintenance operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will be hands-on in the maintenance, repair, and management of routine mechanical, electrical, plumbing repairs across our facilities. Your leadership will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives, manage maintenance activity, and uphold the highest standards of facilities management excellence. Key Responsibilities include Conduct regular repairs and maintenance needs across our programs, training and supporting team members. Manage the work order system by reviewing, responding, and assigning to maintenance team members Coordinate cleaning services team. Oversee quality control of work orders, ensure completion, and follow-ups are handled in a timely manner Ensure adequate and functioning security systems, alarms, keys, and building security escorts Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors, including but not limited to, elevator, fire alarm, sprinkler, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, Monitor improvement projects, renovations, and other building improvements Assist in the successful completion of special assignments You will be responsible for all aspects of our facilities to ensure safety and compliance Maintain supplies and equipment for cleaning and other services Assist with room setups and equipment moves for functions and events Ensure compliance with health, safety, and ADA standards. Collaborate with outside vendors when necessary. Track maintenance supplies and report inventory needs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 5 years' experience in building maintenance or related field Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions Valid NJ Driver's License and reliable transportation Trade school training or relevant certifications (Black Seal and pool certification) Experience working in a healthcare facility environment (Preferred) Join us as we maintain excellence in facility operations through proactive leadership and technical expertise!
