Responsibilities Lead and supervise the service department team, including service technicians and support staff, to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures, ensuring adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications Manage customer interactions from initial greeting through service completion, providing clear communication about repairs, estimates, and timelines Utilize estimating software to prepare accurate repair estimates and facilitate upselling opportunities that benefit both the customer and the dealership Coordinate scheduling of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs Maintain detailed records of all service transactions including work orders, invoices, and client communications while ensuring cash handling accuracy Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing service metrics, implementing training programs, and promoting a culture of excellence Qualifications Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair with a strong understanding of vehicle systems such as transmissions, suspensions, brakes, oil changes, tire services, shocks & struts Demonstrated success in auto service management or dealership environments with familiarity in auto estimating and service writing Hands-on mechanic experience combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is highly desirable Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures including collision repair processes and mechanical troubleshooting techniques Ability to upsell additional services through consultative sales approaches while maintaining integrity and client trust Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to handle cash transactions accurately Join us as we deliver outstanding automotive care while fostering a vibrant team environment!
