You'll guide a team of maintenance technicians while actively troubleshooting and repairing equipment across the facility—from receiving through production and shipping. This role is ideal for someone who leads by example—someone who can step in to solve mechanical or electrical issues while also ensuring the team follows safety standards, completes work orders, and maintains high-quality work. Working on 2nd shift, this role also receives an additional $2 per hour shift differential and our quarterly bonus. What You'll Do Lead and support maintenance team members during shift operations Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, GMPs, and sanitation standards Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including conveyors, elevators, and mechanical systems Respond to and complete work orders with accurate documentation Work closely with production teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime Step in during equipment failures to reduce product loss and restore operations quickly Support performance management, including coaching, documentation, and corrective action processes Perform repairs on forklifts and other facility equipment Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols Operate forklifts safely and complete required inspections Maintain quality workmanship, ensuring repairs meet manufacturer and company standards Assist with projects and work independently or alongside the team as needed Why It Matters Reliable equipment and strong leadership are essential to keeping production moving. What You Bring High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems Welding experience required Familiarity with food safety programs including GMPs, HACCP, and lockout/tagout procedures Ability to diagnose and repair equipment and vehicle issues effectively Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied plant conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) Positive attitude with the ability to lead, motivate, and support a team
