What they do
A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

- Level 4 located in Bethpage, NY , you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
- Level 3 or a Senior Principal Facilities Representative
- Level 4 d epending on qualification below Basic Qualifications for the Level 3: Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management and/or Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or other related field with 5 Years of related experience; OR a master's degree in stated fields with 3 years of related experience An additional 4 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree Must be able to positively interact with workers, contractors, management, and customers Successful experience in vendor negotiations, facility improvements, and relevant construction projects Ability to obtain and maintain a U.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills Interpersonal communication experience with all levels of management Prior experience in Aerospace facilities in a manufacturing production environment Experience in project management and Project planning. Ability to read drawings, schematics, and interpret details Experience in permitting processes, demolition, hazard abatement. Experience with Maximo, BMS, and Microsoft software. Primary Level Salary Range:
$94,200.00- $141,200.
Secondary Level Salary Range:
$117,500.00- $176,300.
