We are seeking a dependable Live-In Building Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and safety of a residential property. The role involves managing building systems, performing repairs, responding to tenant needs, and ensuring the property remains in excellent condition. The superintendent will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, coordinating repairs with contractors, and handling emergency situations promptly. This position requires strong maintenance skills, excellent communication abilities, and a professional approach to tenant interactions. The successful candidate will ensure the building is well-maintained, safe, and provides a comfortable living environment for residents.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine repairs on plumbing, electrical, heating, and other building systems. Conduct regular inspections to keep the property clean, safe, and well-maintained. Respond promptly and professionally to tenant requests and concerns. Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or upgrades. Handle emergency situations quickly, including being available during off-hours. Oversee the upkeep of the building to ensure it remains in excellent condition and complies with safety standards.

Qualifications:

Experience in residential property maintenance or building upkeep. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, heating, and repairs. Ability to perform basic repairs independently.
