Role:

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. In this role, you will supervise a team of 4 maintenance technicians and help ensure our production equipment, HVAC systems, utilities, and facility systems operate safely and reliably. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, supporting a production team, and developing maintenance employees. You will work closely with Production, Quality, Sanitation, and Safety to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and keep the facility running efficiently.

What You'll Do:

Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities and prioritize work based on production needs. Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 4 maintenance technicians. Troubleshoot and oversee repairs of production equipment and facility systems. Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance. Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC systems and other facility systems. Support electrical, mechanical, plumbing, compressed air, refrigeration, and other maintenance needs. Use the CMMS system to manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and maintenance records. Help identify recurring equipment problems and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Ensure proper communication and handoff of maintenance activities. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure LOTO and other safety procedures are followed. Support food safety, quality, regulatory, and facility audit requirements. Partner with Production and other departments to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance. Assist with training and onboarding of maintenance team members.

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food production, warehouse, pharmaceutical, or other industrial environment. At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising maintenance employees. Experience using a CMMS for work orders and preventive maintenance. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Hands-on HVAC experience. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and facility issues in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. High school diploma or GED required. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Preferred Experience:

Food manufacturing or other FDA-regulated environment. Experience with PLC-controlled equipment such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens. Pneumatic systems experience. Refrigeration and climate-control systems. Technical certification, trade school training, or an associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechanical systems, or a related field. Experience with GMP, HACCP, SQF/BRC, OSHA, FDA, or USDA requirements.

Physical & Work Environment:

This is an on-site position in a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Supervisor must be comfortable working around production equipment and in refrigerated, freezer, wet, and other industrial areas. The role requires the ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift as needed.
