We are seeking an experienced and driven Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-volume tire and automotive repair shop. The Service Manager is responsible for managing workflow, supporting technicians and service advisors, ensuring exceptional customer service, and helping drive overall shop performance and profitability. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and experienced in fast-paced automotive service environments. Key Responsibilities Manage daily shop workflow and ensure efficient vehicle throughput Supervise, support and assist technicians and shop staff Ensure high-quality customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally Coordinate scheduling of repairs, maintenance, tire installations, and inspections Monitor shop productivity, labor hours, and efficiency goals Assist in achieving sales and profitability targets Oversee quality control and ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time Maintain strong communication between front counter staff and technicians Help manage parts ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and automotive regulations Assist with employee training, coaching, and performance management Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment Qualifications 5+ years of automotive service management or supervisory experience Prior automotive repair experience, including diagnostics Strong knowledge of tire sales, automotive maintenance, and repair operations Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Experience with shop management software and POS systems preferred Sales and upselling experience preferred Valid driver's license required ASEs a plus Small family owned business
