Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team and ensure the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facility. In this vital role, you will oversee maintenance activities, manage repair procedures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and reliability in maintaining our industrial systems, supporting our commitment to operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and high-voltage systems. Manage facilities maintenance teams, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure timely completion of repairs and inspections. Oversee preventative maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot engineering issues related to mechanical systems, electrical circuits, HVAC units, and industrial machinery using schematics, multimeters (voltmeters), ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools. Ensure all maintenance repair procedures adhere to OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices. Lead projects for facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources and managing timelines effectively. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance documentation. Train team members on proper maintenance techniques, safety protocols, and the use of specialized tools such as schematics and troubleshooting equipment. Skills Proven management experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams with strong leadership capabilities. Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting. Proficiency in managing programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems—including high voltage—HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with OSHA standards related to industrial maintenance and safety regulations. Skilled in project management with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards. Experience using CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Strong communication skills in English for effective team leadership and safety briefings. Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting guides. Knowledge of facilities management principles including HVAC system repair, electrical system diagnostics using voltmeters or ohmmeters, plumbing repairs, and high voltage safety procedures.
