Job Description

The best maintenance jobs happen because someone thought through every detail before anyone picked up a tool. If you've spent years troubleshooting instruments, coordinating electrical work, or leading maintenance crews, this is your chance to move upstream, building the work plans that keep a refinery running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. What you'll do Turn maintenance requests into complete work packages with the labor, materials, tools, and equipment needed to execute successfully. Build job scopes, estimate costs, and coordinate purchasing to eliminate delays before work begins. Partner with Operations, Maintenance Supervisors, Scheduling, and Purchasing to prioritize and sequence refinery work. Create preventive maintenance plans that improve equipment reliability and reduce emergency repairs. Track work order costs and maintain accurate planning records to support future maintenance strategies. Ensure every work package meets refinery safety standards and company procedures. Help improve the planning process by identifying opportunities to make future work safer and more efficient. What you get This is a long-term opportunity supporting refinery maintenance at one of the industry's major operating facilities - not a short turnaround assignment. $61.25-$74.00/hour Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) One-year assignment with the potential to make a lasting impact on refinery reliability Opportunity to move from field execution into a planning role where your experience influences every successful job Who you are You don't just know how to troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems, you know what it takes to prepare a job so the crew can execute it right the first time. You've worked in refinery maintenance, understand how outages and daily maintenance are planned, and know the value of having the right materials, permits, tools, and labor lined up before work begins. SAP experience is helpful, but your field knowledge and ability to think several steps ahead are what really matter. Interested? Reach out and let's talk through the role, the refinery, and whether it's the right next step for your career.
