Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

CHP Home Care & Hospice is looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor to oversee building maintenance and supervision at its nonprofit corporate office and area locations. Must be a self-starter with leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven experience in basic electric, plumbing, HVAC, and other handyman tasks. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of buildings maintenance within the Van Wert Corporate campus, including security alarms and fire suppression systems Periodically inspect all branch offices to monitor problems and assist with any necessary maintenance or repairs Weekly communicate with maintenance staff and Pres/CEO to coordinate estimates and repair timelines Cleaning and repairs, including mowing, spraying, drywall, some electrical and plumbing Weekly inspection of all building systems (including heating, ventilation, etc.) Seasonal duties include landscaping, snow and ice removal Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations, including coordinating fire and tornado drills Skills Proven experience in maintenance or similar role Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating, etc.) Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations Understanding of budgeting and performance management preferred High school diploma; degree from a vocational school will be a plus CPR and first aid training provided Current driver's license and insurance with a good driving record About Our Company CHP is a local, nonprofit organization established to care for our communities.
