What they do
A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Job Description
Requirements Safety and housekeeping values must be top principle. Strong planning, problem solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Promote a positive work environment for growth and sustainability. Participate and work with co-workers as needed on RCA/Corrective action items. Follow standard procedures/ best practices and offer suggestion to improve efficiencies, Participate, use, and support the maintenance work order system for continued growth and development, Work with department leaders on coordination of planned work and support unplanned work as necessary. Task and project oriented Ability to work with all levels of management. Ability to work some off shifts and weekends. Other duties as required by the needs of the plant. Minimum Education and Experience Minimum of 1-3 years in an industrial/manufacturing warehousing environment. Related college degree preferred or equivalent experience in maintenance or procurement. Mechanical Aptitude and Process Equipment maintenance experience preferred. Microsoft/ERP proficient Advanced computer skills for reporting, information transfer, and analysis are preferred.
