JOB FUNCTION / PURPOSE

Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment and facilities are functioning efficiently and safely. Supervise and lead maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance management to maintain high work standards. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

High SchoolResponsibilities Supervise and lead the maintenance team across assigned shifts, including scheduling, task assignments, performance management, and shift handovers. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA regulations and Plaskolite's safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE use. Manage execution of preventive maintenance programs and corrective work orders to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, providing technical guidance where needed. Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track maintenance activities, prioritize work orders, and ensure data accuracy. Coordinate maintenance support for production lines, new equipment installations, and planned shutdowns in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams. Monitor key maintenance performance indicators (e.g., downtime, PM compliance, response times) and implement corrective actions to improve results. Lead daily maintenance meetings, maintain effective communication across departments, and ensure alignment on priorities and safety updates. Support development and training of Maintenance Technicians and Leads, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
