Maintenance Technicians and Supervisor

Job Description

A growing company with multiple locations throughout Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland is actively seeking several Maintenance Technicians for its expanding Ohio operations. These are excellent opportunities for technicians looking for strong training and development, career growth, competitive pay, and a good work/life balance with periodic overtime. The company offers a highly automated industrial environment with exposure to modern equipment and systems. It's also a great opportunity for technicians looking to move away from the uncertainty of the automotive industry and into a stable, established operation where their skills can continue to grow. Maintenance Technician rates are anticipated to be in the $25-$35/hr range, and the Lead Maintenance Technician rates are anticipated to be in the $40-$60/hr range. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. We offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, and more! Qualified Candidates will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or other automated industrial environment. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, belts, bearings, and related equipment. Experience troubleshooting 480V/3-phase electrical systems and the ability to safely read electrical schematics and use diagnostic equipment. Working knowledge of PLCs and industrial controls; must be able to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment (programming experience not required). Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, pumps, boilers, and associated components. Ability to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment failures independently, rather than relying solely on replacing parts or following prescribed PM procedures. 10% overnight travel- primarily local travel to other facilities, but periodically may be to other states including important company wide trainings. Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc. Must be able to work in the US- no sponsorship will be considered. For the Senior Maintenance Technician role, the above technical skills with 7+ years of experience are essential as well as: 4+ years of previous maintenance supervisory, leadership, or team lead experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience scheduling and prioritizing maintenance activities, including preventative maintenance, repairs, projects, and emergency equipment downtime. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians while providing hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting support. Ability to coordinate with production and facility leadership, delegate work effectively, and drive equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
