About the Role As an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of our community. You will lead a team of technicians responsible for routine and emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and unit turnovers. You will also coordinate with vendors, contractors, and property managers to deliver high-quality service and a positive living experience for our residents. Responsibilities Lead and mentor the maintenance team Oversee routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical systems, plumbing, and low/high voltage electrical components, emergency work orders, preventive maintenance, and apartment turnovers Coordinate vendors and contractors while maintaining strong relationships with property management Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment Respond to after-hours and weekend emergencies as needed Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard by maintaining compliance with OSHA safety regulations and enforcing safety procedures, conducting safety training sessions, and ensuring proper use of tools Requirements At least 3 years of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field Solid working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work on-call and weekends when required Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills Basic technical abilities or ability to learn how our managing system for accessing work orders and then documenting, scheduling, and reporting updates Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management, project coordination, and fostering a safety-conscious work environment.
