Maintenance Shift Business Manager Are you a hands-on maintenance leader who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments? We're looking for a Maintenance Shift Business Manager to lead skilled trades teams and play a critical role in keeping our operation running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. In this role, you won't just manage maintenance—you'll own shift reliability, influence plant performance, and develop high-performing teams while making a visible impact every day.
Shift Details:
(D-Shift) Wednesday Night through Friday Night, every other Saturday Night. 6PM to 6AM What You'll Do As a key frontline leader, you will: Lead and develop a team of skilled maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Drive equipment reliability by executing and prioritizing preventive and corrective maintenance work Minimize downtime by quickly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system issues Partner with operations and engineering to align maintenance priorities with production goals Champion safety and compliance , ensuring all work meets environmental and regulatory standards Monitor performance metrics such as uptime, work order completion, and safety KPIs—and take action to improve results Identify and escalate systemic issues , contributing to long-term reliability improvements Coach and mentor your team , helping build technical capability and engagement across the shift Support continuous improvement initiatives that drive plant-wide efficiency and performance What Makes You a Great Fit You bring a blend of technical expertise and leadership capability, along with the ability to stay composed under pressure.

Proven ability to lead and motivate frontline teams Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, or control systems A mindset focused on reliability, uptime, and continuous improvement Commitment to safety, compliance, and doing things the right way Ability to prioritize and execute in a dynamic, fast-moving environment Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments A proactive approach to problem-solving and root cause analysis
What You Bring Required:
3+ years of maintenance or skilled trades experience in manufacturing Demonstrated leadership experience (supervisor, lead, or similar role) Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial equipment Working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
Preferred:
Associate degree or technical certification (Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) Experience with CMMS systems Background in heavy manufacturing (tubing, pipe, or similar industries) How You'll Make an Impact Success in this role means: Driving reduced downtime and improved equipment performance Maintaining a safe, incident-free work environment Developing a highly engaged and capable maintenance team Contributing to plant-wide reliability and operational excellence goals Delivering clear, actionable communication across shifts and departments Work Environment This is a hands-on leadership role based primarily on the plant floor. You'll be: Actively engaged with equipment, teams, and operations Working in a dynamic industrial setting with noise, heat, and moving machinery Required to follow all PPE and safety protocols Occasionally responding to urgent or after-hours maintenance needs Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per day, including off-shifts or weekends as required Frequent walking, standing, and climbing within the manufacturing facility Must be able to lift, carry, or move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range Must be able to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools safely Requires ability to climb ladders, access platforms, and navigate tight spaces Why Join Us?
