In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance, repair, and operational integrity of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across multiple facilities. Your leadership will ensure that all systems function efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring effective management of daily operations, project execution, and team performance. Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, HVAC units, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing systems, and other building infrastructure. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime. Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety regulations, safety procedures, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all staff. Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. Troubleshoot engineering issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify root causes efficiently. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance using CMMS software. Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or upgrades involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC systems, electrical components, or plumbing infrastructure. Monitor facility performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Lead safety training sessions for staff on proper maintenance procedures and safety regulations to uphold OSHA standards. Skills Proven management experience leading facilities maintenance or engineering teams with strong supervisory skills. Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and industrial mechanical troubleshooting. Proficiency in using schematics, wiring diagrams, voltmeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and repairs. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations along with experience implementing safety protocols across facilities. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Experience managing facilities maintenance management software (CMMS) for work order tracking and reporting purposes. Ability to interpret technical schematics related to electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing infrastructure, and mechanical equipment. Knowledge of maintenance repair procedures including high voltage electrical work safely using voltmeters or ohmmeters. Effective team management skills with a focus on leadership development within diverse maintenance teams.
