ASAP | Contract‑to‑Hire Opportunity BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for a property in McMurray, PA. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong leadership skills who can ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained while providing excellent service to residents. Opportunity Type:
Contract‑to‑Hire Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and work orders. Lead, train, and support maintenance staff to ensure quality performance. Perform and oversee repairs related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance. Ensure vacant units are turned and ready for new residents in a timely manner. Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance needs. Manage preventive maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety standards. Monitor inventory and order maintenance supplies and equipment as needed. Respond to resident maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation. Requirements Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Lead Maintenance Technician, or similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance practices. Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a maintenance team. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. HVAC certification, EPA certification, or other relevant certifications are a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance duties.
