Job Description
Position Summary The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing maintenance requests, coordinating technicians and vendors, ensuring timely repairs, and providing outstanding service to residents. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, process, and track maintenance requests from residents and property managers. Schedule and coordinate repairs with maintenance technicians and third-party vendors. Prioritize emergency and routine maintenance requests. Follow up on work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction. Communicate with residents regarding scheduling, updates, and job completion. Obtain vendor quotes and monitor vendor performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Assist with preventative maintenance scheduling and property inspections. Coordinate turnover and make-ready repairs for vacant units. Ensure compliance with company policies and property management standards. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in property management, maintenance coordination, dispatching, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of basic maintenance trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) is a plus.
