Maintenance Supervisor Hot Job Palmyra , PA 17078 Apply Overview Salary Range $68,640.00 - $70,720.00 Salary/year Apply Description About the Position The Maintenance Supervisor assists the Maintenance Director in overseeing the Maintenance and Grounds Departments. They are responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of buildings, equipment, and utility systems across the campus. They complete maintenance projects and perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and document findings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the work of skilled and general maintenance staff to accomplish preventative and corrective maintenance of all building systems including minor projects. Oversee daily tasks for maintenance staff using the work order system to assign, review, capture, and analyze work and performance. Prioritize work assignments according to resident safety and environmental comfort factors. Work with contractors and vendors regarding preventative and corrective maintenance projects as needed. Monitors supplies and places orders as needed. Ensures proper storage of supplies and equipment. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on the following systems: Cooling, Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and Communication. Complete maintenance projects, including ordering needed supplies and equipment, as assigned. Inspect facilities and systems following established checklist and perform repairs as necessary. Respond to system generated work orders and resident calls. Prioritize work according to resident safety and environmental comfort issues. Assist with projects as assigned, including, but not limited to carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work. Perform snow removal on campus and transport staff as needed. Adheres to established safety standards in completing assignments and completes work in a safe manner. Ensures that all work is completed in compliance with regulatory standards and established Londonderry Village policies and procedures. Report any condition requiring advanced attention or unsafe equipment to the Maintenance Director in a timely manner. Conducts and assists with training for Maintenance Department staff. Work the on-call and weekend schedules as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of three years of maintenance experience. Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. General knowledge of carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing repairs.
