Full benefits package Position Summary This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a maintenance professional with experience supporting food production equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate technicians during the shift, respond to equipment issues, and help ensure processing, packaging, and utility systems remain available for production. What You'll Be Responsible For Provide day-to-day direction and technical support to maintenance technicians Organize repair requests, PM activities, work orders, and emergency maintenance needs Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures affecting production Support sanitary dairy processing equipment, including HTST systems, homogenizers, separators, pumps, valves, and CIP equipment Maintain and troubleshoot fillers, conveyors, packaging lines, and associated machinery Assist with facility systems such as ammonia refrigeration, boilers, compressed air, and water Respond quickly to breakdowns and determine repair priorities based on production demands Identify repeat failures and help implement solutions that improve equipment performance Coach technicians on troubleshooting methods, equipment operation, and safe maintenance practices Maintain compliance with plant safety, sanitation, and food quality procedures Communicate equipment status and maintenance needs across production, sanitation, quality, and maintenance teams What You'll Need Previous maintenance experience in dairy, beverage, fluid food, or a similar food manufacturing setting is important for this position. Prior lead or supervisory experience is also required.
Candidates should bring:
Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability Experience with preventive maintenance and industrial equipment repair Knowledge of sanitary processing and CIP systems Exposure to filling and packaging equipment Familiarity with industrial plant utilities Understanding of food plant sanitation and safety requirements Ability to lead technicians while remaining actively involved in troubleshooting and repairs Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Availability to work the 11:00 AM-7:00 PM shift and adjust hours when plant needs require it
