Our facility in Schuylkill Haven is converting to a cheese plant producing cottage cheese and sour cream in 2026. We are looking for dedicated and qualified workers to be a part of our team. An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans Level 3: Advanced Lead Technician (Technician III) This level represents the highest degree of technical expertise, focusing on troubleshooting automation, control systems, and process optimization.
Automation and PLC Expertise:
Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) operations troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley). Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) operation and troubleshooting. Basic understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP,).
Advanced Electrical and Controls:
Assist Plant Engineer with implementation of electrical control panel upgrades and replacements. VFD and servo drive troubleshooting and replacement. Advanced troubleshooting of robotics and complex automated packaging systems.
System Integration and Optimization:
Ability to assist the PEM with integrating new machinery with existing production lines and control systems. Data analysis from control systems to identify and correct process bottlenecks or inefficiencies. Experience with process control loop tuning (PID controllers). Involvement in the commissioning of new equipment and control systems.
Leadership and Training:
Mentoring and training Level 1 and Level 2 technicians. Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major equipment failures. Assist the Plant Engineer and work with contractors and vendors on specialized projects.
