Job Description

Our client is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight for infrastructure upkeep, maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and daily maintenance activities. This position works closely with maintenance staff, contractors, and organizational leadership to ensure facilities, paved surfaces, drainage systems, vegetation, signage, and specialized equipment are maintained safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable requirements.
Compensation:
$41 per hour Contract Responsibilities of the
Maintenance Supervisor:
Provide daily leadership and supervision to maintenance staff, including assigning work, coaching employees, supporting development, and ensuring compliance with safety practices. Oversee regulatory and safety compliance through inspections, hazard mitigation, documentation, and implementation of preventive maintenance programs for facilities, paved areas, vegetation, and specialized equipment. Manage the CMMS work order system by assigning, tracking, and monitoring maintenance requests while ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation. Coordinate seasonal and weather-related operations, including snow and ice response, equipment readiness, emergency response, and operational disruptions. Oversee contractors, infrastructure maintenance, inventories, reporting, budgeting, procurement, and long-range maintenance planning while verifying quality, safety, and compliance. Qualifications of the
Maintenance Supervisor:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, public administration, construction management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience with demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate complex maintenance operations. Knowledge of infrastructure maintenance, pavement systems, markings, lighting, drainage, grounds programs, snow removal operations, and applicable regulatory requirements. Experience with budgeting, procurement, compliance, contractor oversight, Microsoft Office, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Strong organizational, analytical, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications; valid driver's license required.
