About the Role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role will lead daily maintenance activities, support equipment reliability, troubleshoot complex issues, and help develop a strong, safety-focused maintenance team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance professional who can lead by example, solve problems, and keep production running safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical leadership and direction to maintenance technicians. Prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities based on safety, production needs, and equipment reliability. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize unplanned downtime. Identify recurring equipment issues and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Coach and develop maintenance technicians through hands-on training and support. Partner closely with Production to address equipment issues and improve reliability. Maintain accurate work orders, equipment history, and maintenance documentation through the CMMS. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Lockout/Tagout and other safety requirements. Support equipment installations, modifications, continuous improvement projects, and contractor activities.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with preventive maintenance programs. Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and Lockout/Tagout procedures. Demonstrated leadership or lead technician experience. Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 manufacturing environment , including weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying shifts as needed.

Preferred:

Technical degree, industrial maintenance certification, or related training. Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, and automation. CMMS experience. Experience with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement. Experience in a continuous-process or high-speed manufacturing environment.
