Job Description
SunRidge Management is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for our 159 unit community located in Inman, SC. In this position, you are responsible for management of the property including oversight of HVAC systems, plumbing, completions of work orders, preparation of apartments for move-in, maintaining common amenities and grounds. HVAC/EPA
certification is a requirement for this position. Responsibilities and Duties- Responds to and completes resident work orders, insuring quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction.
- Performs work needed to ready apartments for move-in as assigned.
- Performs general maintenance projects as assigned, including installations and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, appliance, electrical equipment, carpentry work, painting, and equipment repair.
- Knowledgeable of all property emergency, safety/disaster plans and procedures.
- Responds promptly to emergencies.
- Maintains office, shops, storage and mechanical areas
- Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Qualifications and Skills
HVAC/EPA
Certification- CPO Certification
- HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Experience
- Must be flexible and able to shift priorities if needed.
- Must be able to move quickly, think on one's feet, and multitask.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
