Heidelberg Materials seeks an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead electrical reliability in our manufacturing operations within the Engineering, Maintenance & Asset Management team. This on-site role oversees a crew of technicians, ensuring safe execution of preventive and corrective electrical work on plant power distribution, motors, drives, and automation systems. You'll champion a safety-first, collaborative culture, manage work orders and projects, and drive continuous improvement in reliability, energy efficiency, and asset performance while mentoring technical talent and supporting sustainable, high-performance operations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team in a heavy manufacturing plant Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and corrective electrical maintenance Ensure strict compliance with safety, lockout/tagout, and regulatory standards Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical, automation, and control systems Optimize equipment reliability and uptime through predictive technologies Manage maintenance work orders, spare parts, and contractor activities Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on capital and reliability projects Develop and mentor technicians' technical and safety competencies Drive continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and best practices Support sustainability, energy efficiency, and asset management initiatives Required Skills Electrical maintenance in heavy industrial plants PLC programming and troubleshooting Motor control and VFD systems Power distribution (low and medium voltage) Preventive and predictive maintenance Industrial automation and controls Reading electrical schematics and drawings
