Job Description

Responsibilities:
Scheduling and assigning team members to complete maintenance tasks. Maintain workflow by monitoring team members and resources; implementing lean principles; monitoring reporting procedures and systems; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Accomplishes maintenance results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, identifying and coordinating training needs, appraising job results; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures. Use a CMMS, such as Limble, to manage and track maintenance work. Prepare and submit CAPEX requests. Maintains staff by training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. Perform Annual Reviews for all direct reports. Ensure proper operation of equipment by issuing and completing work orders. Interacts with other managers, supervisors, and production workers on maintenance issues. Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the proper use of equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established environmental and safety policies and procedures. Desire to improve professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices. Ability to interact tactfully and courteously with employees, vendors and contractors Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards. Identify quality issues and attain established productivity standards. Work Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required. Associates/Technical degree or equivalent experience required. At least 5 years of related maintenance experience. At least 1-3 years in a maintenance leadership role preferred. Experience with maintenance systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. People-centric approach to daily business tasks and interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, and knowledge in or ability to quickly learn other computer applications. Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail. Ability to compile, analyze and interpret data. Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies; certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs multiple times throughout the shift. Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds multiple times throughout shift.
