About the Role We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Manager to take charge of all maintenance operations at our manufacturing facility in the Fayetteville, TN area. In this capacity, you will be tasked with creating and carrying out preventive maintenance strategies, boosting the reliability of our machinery, and guaranteeing that all plant infrastructure and equipment function in a safe and productive manner. Core Duties Oversee the full spectrum of facility maintenance, encompassing all corrective, predictive, and preventive tasks. Foster a high-performing maintenance team by providing guidance, setting clear goals, and offering ongoing support. Create and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to help ensure maximum equipment availability and operational consistency. Leverage the facility CMMS to track labor, parts, maintenance logs, work orders, and overall equipment history. Improve overall machine reliability to help minimize unexpected outages and recurring technical failures. Evaluate maintenance metrics and downtime logs to pinpoint patterns and boost total equipment effectiveness. Spearhead root-cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts to resolve persistent equipment or process challenges. Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to optimize manufacturing workflows and assist with the setup of new machinery. Work alongside the Quality department to resolve equipment-related defects and ensure maintenance standards uphold product quality. Integrate Lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement practices into daily maintenance routines. Monitor and report on key maintenance performance indicators, such as costs, PM completion rates, and equipment reliability. Supervise external vendors, contractors, and various maintenance-related projects as required. Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts to maintain operational efficiency while managing departmental expenses. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by ensuring all maintenance tasks follow company safety protocols and regulations. Formulate long-term maintenance strategies and provide recommendations for capital improvements to support plant goals. Engage in leadership meetings to contribute to broader operational success and ongoing improvement efforts. Required Qualifications At least five years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance leadership or management role. Proven expertise in building and overseeing robust preventive maintenance programs. Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing CMMS software to inform data-driven maintenance decisions. Help the organization achieve greater efficiency by successfully improving equipment reliability and lowering downtime. Solid understanding of continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing concepts. Expertise in complex problem-solving, troubleshooting, and conducting root-cause analysis. Experience collaborating across departments such as Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Production. Strong capabilities in leading and managing diverse teams. Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational skills.
