Maintenance Director Job Summary:

The Waters of Kingsport LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at The Waters of Kingsport Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a leader in providing passionate, quality care, we are dedicated to fostering a healthy environment that promotes confident communication, honor, and collaboration among all members of the resident, family, and healthcare team. We are seeking a results-driven individual to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable living space for our residents.

Responsibilities:

Maintain the facility's physical structure, ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment, fixtures, and appliances within the facility Develop and implement effective maintenance programs to prevent and resolve issues Recruit , train , and supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations Collaborate with other departments to identify and address safety concerns and facility needs Manage budgets and schedules to ensure efficient use of resources Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare setting Strong organizational and leadership skills , with the ability to motivate and direct a team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills , with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures , with the ability to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all Ability to work varied shifts , including evenings, weekends, and holidays
