Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trailer Shop Foreman/Parts Manager to lead our trailer service and parts operations. In this vital role, you will oversee daily shop activities, coordinate equipment and trailer repairs, manage parts inventory, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a team-oriented environment, and deliver exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical background, dealership experience. Duties Supervise the trailer shop team, providing guidance on repair procedures, safety protocols, and customer service excellence Oversee the repair and maintenance on utility, dump, cargo, and boat trailers. Manage parts inventory, ensuring timely ordering of all parts needed. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues related to trailer systems, and electrical. Coordinate fabrication tasks and equipment repairs using power tools, welding equipment, and hand tools to meet operational needs Conduct quality control inspections on completed repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts usage, service history, and inventory levels Ensure shop safety protocols are followed diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during heavy lifting or equipment operation Skills Extensive dealership experience with trailers, or industrial equipment preferred Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for diagnostics and repair Ability to perform all parts of tire services Competence in welding and equipment maintenance using power tools and hand tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers and team members Strong organizational skills for managing parts inventory and work schedules effectively Knowledge of safety standards 3 references required: 2 professional, 1 personal. Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
