Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of facilities maintenance and mechanical systems within our properties. This role is vital in ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety compliance. As a Property Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate maintenance teams, manage repair procedures, and implement preventive maintenance strategies to uphold the highest standards of facility operations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance tasks across all property systems. Develop, implement, and oversee maintenance repair procedures for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), low voltage, and industrial systems. Manage facilities management programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and inventory. Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical or electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and testing tools such as ohmmeters. Ensure compliance with safety regulations including OSHA standards by conducting regular safety audits and training sessions for team members. Oversee HVAC system repair and maintenance activities to optimize performance and energy efficiency. Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by coordinating resources, scheduling work, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance documentation. Implement best practices for facilities management including plumbing system maintenance, electrical system repairs, and mechanical systems troubleshooting. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding maintenance schedules, safety protocols, and project updates. Qualifications Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance teams with a strong leadership background. Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, electrical systems experience (including low voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and industrial systems repair. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, electrical troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA standards; ability to conduct safety audits and enforce compliance measures. Experience managing facilities using CMMS platforms for work order tracking and asset management. Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Effective team management skills with a focus on supervising staff performance and fostering a safe working environment. Knowledge of electrical systems including low voltage wiring; ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently. Strong communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
