We are committed to delivering exceptional living experiences and building strong communities where residents and our team members thrive. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor at our brand new property - The Merc, located in Arlington, TX. Your role will involve troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems, as well as performing general maintenance duties. This position requires flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and other mechanical systems Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, and order replacements as needed Assist with preventive maintenance programs and special projects Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inspections Collaborate with property management teams to ensure the smooth operation of the properties Assist with scheduling of make readies and vendors This position will require being available to take on-call for after hour emergencies
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems EPA, HVAC, and CPO certifications required Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to travel frequently and adapt to different property environments Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in using maintenance software and Microsoft Office Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed
