Entry-Level (1-3 years) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level Maintenance Field Planner to join our Maintenance Planning Department. In this role, you will bridge project data and field execution by managing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data, analyzing P&ID drawings, developing field job plans, and establishing production schedules to support operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Maintenance Planning & Data Management

Project Data Integration:

Review P&ID drawings and asset data from capital projects, accurately transferring and maintaining key information within the CMMS software.

Job Plan Development:

Perform field walk-downs based on the scope of work to identify required craft resources, equipment, and materials.

Task Breakdown:

Deconstruct work scopes into clear, step-by-step procedures that can be monitored and progressed during execution.

Procurement Support:

Assist in procuring required materials and outside vendor services, logging all steps into the system database.

Project Hand-off & Tracking:

Notify the EPC planner when scope preparation is complete and ready for scheduling; assist in monitoring the progress of field activities. Scheduling & System Operations

Schedule Creation & Maintenance:

Define, create, and maintain production schedules based on demand planning, actual customer demand, internal capacity constraints, and factors affecting schedule compliance.

Inventory & Capacity Monitoring:

Monitor material inventories, track manufacturing progress, and review the dynamics of production schedule utilization and capacity metrics.

System Execution:

Execute ERP processes and reporting functions to provide timely, data-driven information for business and scheduling decisions. Qualifications & Requirements Experience & Education 1-3 years of experience in maintenance, operations, or a related industrial environment. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or training preferred. Technical & Core Skills Hands-on experience with CMMS software and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity with tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, P&IDs, work permits, and safety procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels. Ability to prioritize, take responsibility, and respond to multiple tasks under potentially stressful or hazardous conditions. Certificates & Driving Requirements Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Willingness and ability to work overtime as required. Must live or relocate within 1 hour of the reporting location. Physical & Environmental Demands Physical Requirements Regularly bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, climb, and work at various heights or in awkward positions (standing, sitting, lying down). Frequently move between ground level and elevated areas. Lift up to 50 lbs. from ground level and manually transport loads up to 75 lbs. Apply up to 100 ft-lbs of torque. Enter and exit vehicles regularly and navigate rough terrain/roads. Routinely react to visual, auditory, and alarm signals, and visually inspect work. Work Environment Indoor and outdoor work around active industrial and electrical equipment. Exposure to weather and operating equipment temperature extremes. Mandatory use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and special safety gear.
