In this role, you will oversee landscaping projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticulture. Maintenance Crew Leader daily responsibilities will include but not limited to: Lawn Mowing (Mowing, Edging, Weed-eating) Bush / Shrub trimming Tree Pruning Minor landscape irrigation system repairs (water valve, pvc pipe, reporting issues with irrigation zones) Keeping plant beds and tree wells (mulch, gravel areas) free of weeds and grass Install Mulch, Plants, Flowers. Applying fertilizer, pre & post emergent applications Clear Communication with Management & Office Support Manage schedule, routing & crew time Driving crew from office to project with company vehicle Leading a crew of 3-5 workers when necessary Ensuring crew is following Landart America safety policies Completing maintenance property reports as well as equipment/vehicle reports Skills required: Clear understanding of daily instructions for jobsites Safely operate equipment: ride on chain trenchers, ride on rock saws, walk behind trenchers, mowers, weed-eaters, blowers, chain saws, hedge clippers and or any other equipment necessary Detail oriented 2-year minimum driving experience with trucks and hauling trailers Familiar with the Austin and surrounding areas Safety, PPE Punctual Spanish fluency is a requirement for this position

Experience:

3 years field experience inspecting, installing, and maintaining commercial irrigation systems Community entry, park, and amenity center experience preferred

Education/Licenses:
