This energetic role offers the opportunity to oversee landscape and grounds maintenance projects, ensuring high-quality results while managing daily operations. As a key leader, you'll inspire teamwork, uphold safety standards, and deliver exceptional outdoor environments that enhance community aesthetics and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew responsible for lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and hardscape installation projects. Coordinate construction projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards are met. Manage irrigation systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain healthy landscapes. Identify various plants, trees, and horticultural elements to ensure proper care and maintenance. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including company vehicles, mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools. Oversee team management tasks such as scheduling, training new crew members, and monitoring performance to foster a motivated work environment. Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety protocols and environmental regulations while delivering outstanding grounds maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance or related outdoor work environments. Supervising or team management experience in a landscaping or construction setting. Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and irrigation management. Ability to operate landscaping equipment and grounds maintenance tools safely and effectively. Construction experience with hardscape features such as patios or walkways is a plus. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise crew members and manage multiple projects efficiently. Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; attention to detail is essential.
