Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop foreman/Lead technician to oversee and perform maintenance and repairs on our fleet and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, leadership abilities, and proficiency with various tools and diagnostic instruments. This role is vital in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our operations through expert troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. Duties Lead and supervise a team of mechanics to ensure the timely completion of maintenance tasks Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and power tools Perform repairs on vehicles, machinery, and equipment, including engine work, brake systems, and electrical components Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical systems Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities Train junior mechanics on proper techniques and safety procedures Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities Experience Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or mechanical repair roles Strong mechanical knowledge of engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic components Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments such as ohmmeters Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and accurately Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy machinery and vehicle repair This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team while applying technical expertise in a dynamic environment. Pay:
$72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
