Join Our Team Casa Arena Healthcare is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hands-on Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and physical plant operations of our healthcare facility. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, functional, and survey-ready environment for our residents, employees, and visitors. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, and comfortable handling both day-to-day repairs and larger facility projects. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily maintenance and physical plant operations of the facility Perform and coordinate routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements Maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, doors, fixtures, and other building systems Conduct routine inspections of the building, grounds, equipment, and resident areas Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and required documentation Ensure fire and life-safety systems are properly maintained and inspected Coordinate outside vendors, contractors, and service providers as needed Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent facility issues Maintain appropriate records for inspections, repairs, testing, and preventative maintenance Assist with emergency preparedness and life-safety requirements Ensure the facility remains compliant with applicable federal, state, local, and Life Safety Code requirements Participate in survey preparation and promptly address identified environmental or maintenance concerns Monitor maintenance supplies, equipment, and department expenses Maintain the exterior grounds and overall appearance of the property Work closely with the Administrator and department leaders to identify and resolve facility needs Be available to respond to urgent maintenance issues when necessary Qualifications Previous maintenance experience required Maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred Experience in a skilled nursing, healthcare, assisted living, or similar environment is strongly preferred Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general construction, and preventative maintenance Knowledge of Life Safety Code and healthcare regulatory requirements is a plus Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs and follow through to completion Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of the facility leadership team Must be dependable, professional, and responsive Who We're Looking For We need a Maintenance Director who is proactive rather than reactive .
