The Grounds Guys is looking for a dependable, experienced Landscape Maintenance Team Lead who can lead a crew and deliver consistently excellent results for our residential and commercial customers. This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll work alongside your crew while keeping the team organized, productive, and focused on quality. What You'll Do As a Landscape Maintenance Team Lead, you will: Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew. Review the daily route and job expectations with your team. Keep the crew organized, productive, and on schedule. Perform mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, weeding, and other landscape maintenance services. Inspect each property before leaving to ensure our quality standards are met. Monitor job hours and help the crew complete work within the scheduled time. Communicate property concerns, customer requests, and equipment issues to management. Train crew members on proper work methods, safety procedures, and equipment operation. Ensure company vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment are kept clean and properly maintained. Make sure gates are closed, debris is removed, and each property is left clean and professional. Prepare the truck, trailer, equipment, and crew for the following workday. Use company software to document completed work and report important information. What We're Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Have previous professional lawn maintenance or landscaping experience. Have experience leading a crew or are ready to take the next step into leadership. Take pride in producing clean, detailed, professional work. Are dependable, punctual, and prepared to work each day. Communicate clearly with crew members, managers, and customers. Can hold team members accountable while treating them with respect. Stay calm, solve problems, and keep the crew moving when challenges arise. Understand that customer service and property protection are just as important as production. Are comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding work in varying weather conditions. Are willing to learn and follow company systems, safety procedures, and quality standards. Required Experience and Qualifications Professional lawn maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor-service experience Experience operating commercial mowers, string trimmers, stick edgers, backpack blowers, and other lawn equipment Basic knowledge of equipment care and preventative maintenance Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Experience safely driving a truck with a trailer Ability to obtain any required licenses or certifications within six months of hire Reliable transportation to and from work How Success Is Measured Our Team Leads are responsible for helping their crews succeed.
