• Lead the congregation to experience God's power and presence through worship.
• Provide a sense of togetherness and unity across all worship environments.
• Foster a culture of worship rooted in Scripture and Spirit-led.
• Oversee all aspects of the worship planning process for regularly scheduled services or special events, including coordination of worship team members, worship band, choir/orchestra, audio/visual/lighting support, and any other special facility setup requirements.
• Recruit, develop, and lead the people needed for our worship services.
• Cultivate and train the next generation of worship leaders.
• Care for the congregation through prayer, pastoral ministry, and spiritual leadership. Regular Duties
• Plan and lead the weekly worship services and rehearsals for each service.
• Work alongside the Pastor on his identified themes for regular services, special events, and programs, and select appropriate music and worship elements.
• Work with the Technical Director, assistant, and volunteers to maintain equipment and instruments.
• Supervise and direct worship ministry staff.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule all vocalists, A/V technicians, and musicians
• Manage worship/music subscriptions and stay up to date on worship ministry trends, songs, technical innovations, and styles.
• Work with the Pastor and the Finance Director to prepare and implement the annual worship ministry budget.
• Provide pastoral care and other ministerial responsibilities for the worship team, church members, and the community.
• Participate in the weekly ministerial staff meeting and other staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the Pastor.
