Service Assistant Details:

The Assistant Service Supervisor assists in the overall maintenance operations of the community while taking a hands-on approach to the completion of all projects. The Service Assistant is responsible for ensuring the community meets safety, appearance and operational standards established by the company. Primary Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance Make repairs as needed to all common areas and units Review daily work order priorities with the Service Supervisor at the beginning of each day Support the Service Supervisor with day to day employee and operational needs Share on-call responsibility with the Service Supervisor Respond to resident service requests within 24 hours Inspect vacant apartments using the Make Ready Checklist and inform the Service Supervisor and Community Director of needed services and repairs Inspect the community on a daily basis to propose upgrades and address deferred maintenance issues Responsible for upkeep of all property-issued tools Assistant Service Supervisors must possess Certified Pool Operator (CPO) credentials and be EPA certified to perform HVAC work Must attend State Fire Safety class within first 6 months of employment Communicate fluently in English Other duties as assigned
