This is a great opportunity for a go getter interested in growing with a company that has many new properties and positions slated to open in the near future. Brownstone Residential is a great company to work for with an employees FIRST culture. The Maintenance Lead will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, make readies and electrical. The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for the following: Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the assigned apartment community Oversees outside vendors when utilized Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents Responding to work orders in occupied apartments Grounds maintenance and refuse control HVAC troubleshooting and repairs Electrical troubleshooting and repairs Lock installation and repairs Minor plumbing Minor painting Minor carpentry Appliance installation and repairs
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience 1-2 years general maintenance experience EPA or HVAC certified Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry. Valid driver's license
Hours:
8:30am - 5:30pm & on call after hours emergency's
Physical Demands:
1. The ability to frequently lift, carry, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs. in a correct and safe manner. 2. Physically able to climb numerous flights of stairs on a daily basis. 3.
Stooping:
Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles. 4.
Kneeling:
Frequently bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees. 5.
Crouching:
Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine. 6.
Reaching:
Frequently extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. 7.
Handling:
Frequently seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hands. We offer a complete benefits package including 401K with company match as well as a generous time off policy.
