Job Description
MEP Superintendent I & II Mortenson Construction paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), retirement plan United States, Texas, McAllen Aug 11, 2026 SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent I & II to review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with project team members and participants. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with an elevated level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success. This position offers opportunities at both levels I and II, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role is determined based on factors such as experience and location.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide coordination, planning, and supervision for MEP scopes of work Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service Plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule Review construction documents for completeness and constructability Review and understand contract documents Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies Participate in the development and management of project schedules, including three and six-week look-ahead schedules Develop a site logistics plan Manage the utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment Collaborate with project partner superintendentsQUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
8 years of construction experience with two of those years having supervisory experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor The base pay range for this role is $111,400 MIN- $167,100 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
10 years of construction experience with two of those years having supervisory experience, preferably with a Mechanical or Electrical Contractor 15 years of construction experience The base pay range for this role is $130,100 MIN- $195,200 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL
