Job Description

Keeping a skilled nursing facility running requires steady, hands-on attention to the physical building and essential equipment. This role centers on resolving daily repair tickets and handling preventative physical upkeep. You will work directly throughout the building to ensure mechanical and electrical fixtures remain operational.
Compensation, Schedule & Benefits Pay Rate:
Starting at $20/hr, depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM (with occasional weekends and on-call rotation)

Inspect building grounds, repair drywall, touch-up paint, and resolve routine work orders. Test emergency generators, fire alarm systems, and safety equipment according to regulatory inspection schedules. Coordinate with external contractors for major mechanical or specialized facility repairs. Maintain complete physical logs for all facility inspections, safety checks, and vendor service records. Respond to on-call maintenance requests and handle occasional weekend building coverage. Qualifications & Requirements Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, or painting Prior maintenance experience in a healthcare facility is preferred Must pass a standard criminal background check Must pass a drug screening Reliable transportation for consistent attendance Why Join Midland Medical Lodge?
