What they do
A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Job Description
- Providing necessary planning information that insures safe and efficient execution of all jobs
- Making sure the notification has proper detail with in the description o If not add comments in the long text, reject the notification and notify the OMC immediately
- Participating in the management of notification and work order backlog by: o Reviewing backlog and planning list for duplicates o Grouping notifications together that can be planned and worked as a single order that optimizes utilization of resources o Ensuring plans are in place that meets the timing requirements of the process units o Understanding of job scope through notification text and field walk through with the OMC
