Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations of our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility and equipment are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and repairs of facilities and equipment Ensure Life Safety Code regulations are in compliance Ensure that fire protection and prevention programs are maintained by department personnel in accordance with our fire safety policies and procedures Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards Develop and manage maintenance budgets Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations Identify and implement cost-saving measures Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs Ensure OSHA standards are met If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for maintenance management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, or certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management Previous maintenance experience in long term care facility, hospital, hotel, apartment, or office building preferred Strong leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of safety regulations and standards Ability to develop and manage budgets Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
