This is a key leadership role responsible for maximizing equipment reliability, leading maintenance teams, driving continuous improvement, and supporting safe, efficient plant performance. Occasional travel to Canada may be required for training. What You'll Do Lead and prioritize all plant maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems Supervise and develop maintenance personnel to drive safety, reliability, and performance Maintain and protect manufacturing assets through strong preventive and predictive maintenance programs Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive root cause problem solving Coordinate equipment repairs, upgrades, and modifications Manage maintenance budgets, purchase orders, inventory, and cost controls Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve uptime, efficiency, and equipment performance Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards Oversee contractors, inspections, and plant projects Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reporting Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Associate's degree in a technical or management field preferred Extrusion manufacturing experience required (PVC / plastics preferred) 5+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience Strong technical and troubleshooting mindset Excellent organizational and time management skills Proven ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Working knowledge of CMMS systems, PLCs, and industrial equipment Experience with electrical and mechanical systems SAP experience a plus
OSHA 10/30
certification preferred Strong communication and team leadership skills Work Environment This is a working leadership role operating across office and manufacturing plant environments. Plant areas may involve elevated noise levels and require appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear. Occasional travel may be required. Physical Demands This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and communication. Occasional bending, climbing, and lifting consistent with a manufacturing environment may be required.
