Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by overseeing routine maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and managing maintenance projects. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, and low/high voltage systems. Manage maintenance repair procedures using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance schedules. Lead troubleshooting efforts for engineering issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical systems repair. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members. Oversee facilities management projects from planning through execution, including HVAC system repair, electrical system upgrades, and plumbing system maintenance. Train and supervise maintenance technicians on proper procedures for electrical testing with voltmeters and ohmmeters, as well as mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Develop and implement maintenance management strategies that optimize equipment uptime while controlling costs. Lead team management efforts by managing facilities maintenance teams effectively, fostering teamwork, leadership development, and high performance. Qualifications Proven experience supervising industrial maintenance teams with a strong background in facilities management. Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), plumbing system maintenance, and engineering troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, electrical testing tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations related to industrial environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and project planning purposes. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage facilities maintenance operations effectively. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is preferred.
