We're hiring a Service Department Manager to run our service department and lead its technician team. This is a management role, you own the department: its people, its performance, its pricing, and its growth with sales and estimating leadership as a core part of running it. Leading the department Manage the service department as a whole: direction, standards, and priorities across our service areas Lead, supervise, and develop the service technician team; direct daily work, assignments, and coverage Interview, select, and train technicians; your input on hiring, advancement, and termination carries real weight Set and adjust schedules, assignments, and area coverage Appraise and coach technician performance: close rate, average ticket, consultative selling Own department KPIs, performance tracking, and reporting Refine and implement SOPs, training, and department standards Handle customer escalations and personnel matters within the department Review and approve large-project pricing and scope; hold pricing and margin discipline Plan and manage the department's contribution to the company budget Uphold safety and code-compliance standards in the field Sales & estimating leadership (part of running the department) Direct the department's estimating and proposal work; personally own higher-dollar and complex estimates Set pricing and scope on major opportunities within your authority Drive the team's revenue, close-rate, and margin targets What you bring Proven leadership/management experience, ideally in electrical service, the trades, or field service Strong estimating and sales ability; able to read plans and price work accurately Utah master or journeyman electrician license Comfortable with field-service software (FieldPulse a plus) Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Compensation:

Competitive base $90K-$100K+ DOE, plus commission and monthly area-profit bonus. Full-time, salaried.
