Job Title:
Maintenance Manager Employment Type:
Full-Time, In-person Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage maintenance operations across our restaurant locations. This role is responsible for ensuring all facilities, equipment, and systems are functioning optimally and safely. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of leading and coordinating with external service providers to support daily restaurant operations and long-term maintenance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all maintenance activities across 15 restaurant locations, including HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, electrical, and general repairs. Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues and work closely with restaurant managers to minimize operational downtime. Develop and manage a preventive maintenance schedule for all locations. Conduct regular inspections of each location to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality of all equipment and building systems. Manage and supervise internal maintenance technicians and external contractors. Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, repairs, inspections, and service logs. Prioritize and coordinate work orders based on urgency, cost-effectiveness, and operational impact. Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers. Provide technical support and guidance to store managers and team members regarding equipment use and care.
Qualifications:
Experience in facility or maintenance management, preferably in a multi-unit restaurant. knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, and general building systems. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and locations. Experience leading a team and managing third-party service Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; travel to restaurant sites is required. Ability to be on call for emergency maintenance needs, including some evenings or weekends. Strong communication skills in both
English and Spanish Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Frequent travel between restaurant locations (within [region/state]). Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.
Pay:
$48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
