Hinton, VA 22831 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor to join our poultry facility team in Hinton, VA. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment and machinery are operating efficiently and safely to support continuous production. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead the maintenance team to perform routine and preventive maintenance on poultry processing equipment and facility infrastructure. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and coordinate timely repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, inspections, and equipment logs. Collaborate with production and quality teams to support operational goals. Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance skills and performance. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and coordinate with vendors for parts and services. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a poultry or food processing environment. Proven supervisory or leadership experience. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance in an industrial setting. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
