Working closely with the Service Manager, the Shop Foreman helps keep work moving efficiently through the shop, provides technical support to technicians, and steps in when additional expertise or troubleshooting is needed. This is a hands-on position for an experienced technician who enjoys helping others succeed but still wants to turn wrenches and earn based on productivity. What You'll Do Work alongside the Service Manager to help coordinate workflow and keep repairs moving through the shop. Diagnose and repair vehicles while continuing to produce flat rate hours. Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians. Assist technicians with difficult or complex repairs and diagnostics. Help ensure repairs are completed correctly and meet manufacturer and dealership standards. Serve as a technical resource for the shop and help develop less-experienced technicians. Promote an organized, productive, and safe shop environment. Communicate with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, and Parts Department to help resolve repair or workflow issues. What We're Looking For Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience. Previous Shop Foreman, Team Lead, or senior-level technician experience preferred. Ford Certified. Strong technical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead by example and work effectively with technicians at different skill levels. Good communication and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
